Tradepaints is a proudly Australian owned and operated paint manufacturer of affordable, quality paint. A company ********* y Allan Duxson and two colleagues. The company initially produced paint for canvas which soon expanded into the manufacture of domestic and architectural coatings. Excellent early growth confirmed that the partnership had found a profitable niche market. In 1984 the business was split in two with the original part of the business being retained by Allan Duxson as Tradepaints. Tradepaints continued to operate from the premises for a further 7 years; expanding the range to further the growth in the market. Good growth in volume continued and in 1991 a move was made to our current location at Fitzgerald Road, Laverton. The move to a larger factory enabled the solvent-based architectural range to be expanded and also for industrial coatings to be added to the product range. In October 1998, Tradepaints formed an association with Australian Coating Technologies and the company expanded its production facility and began contract production of sealants, putties and adhesives. Using the expanded technological expertise from developing architectural and industrial paint, sealants, putties and adhesives, in February 2002 Tradepaints introduced its most advanced range of premium paints ever, under the Duxson brand. Recognizable by native Australian birds on the labels and eucalypt leaves in the logo, the Duxson range was born at a time when the major Australian paint brands were being bought out by overseas conglomerates. In 2006 the management of Tradepaints was succeeded by Andrew Duxson. Andrew has embarked on a program of continuous improvement in all facets of product range and operations by maintaining a regular auditing regime by SAI Global and holds the internationally recognised ISO accreditation for its quality control system. This means that customer can buy with the confidence that our products will remain the same high standard day-in, day-out. Still Located in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne, Tradepaints is currently staffed with a team of ten people who solely develop and produce approximately 600,000 litres of domestic, architectural and industrial coatings each year.
